Commentary Given that leading designers have five years experience with de roulè manipulations, this two-part design misses the point. Rather than a single piece of fabric which can be continuously adjusted, this culotte features a translucent extension sewn above a high hemmed waistline. This constrains the adjustment of exposure to the region above the basic culotte, but does not invite extensive adjustment. Foundations have also made a resurgence, as seen in this underwire halter.
