Buoy Girl Waves at You

Maine Coast
le. 1910 BG1050

Costume
Brown with white collar shortsleeve bathing dress (probably bloomerless) with black hose.

   Bare arms.

Actions
A bathing beauty waves from atop and giant iron buoy with a whistle on top (1). Sailboats are seen in the background.

Commentary
The back of the card reads: The Whisting B(u)oy and Summer Girl. Maine's three hundred miles of seacoast would be stretched to three thousand miles could the shores of its innumerable bays, coves and inlets be extended in one straight line. Judging by the fun there is to be had here three thousand miles is a short estimate. When you boys and girls come out to play, "Remember the Maine" 97.
