Bathing Beauties Truth Tease

Seashore, America
1893 TR189301

Costume
A: Black bathing dress sleeveless bloomered, with hose and shoes.
B: Black with stripes bathing dress shortsleeved bloomerless, with shoes.
C: White bathing dress shortsleeved bloomerless, with shoes and hat.

   Face and arms all.
Bare calves for two subjects and a bare knee for the middle gal.

Actions
Three bathers lounge on the dunes (1) and adorn the cover of Truth.

Commentary
It is uncertain if two of these ladies wear hose, although shoes are a part of their attire. The third allows the tops of her hose to be exposed, and this, along with her entirely bare arms, is quite risqué.
