Costume
   Men and women in black suits and longsleever bathingdresses.
   Girl: pink calf-length dress, hat.
   Boys: dark jackets and trousers.

   Face and hands. Bare legs on the boys.

Actions
   A young girl in pink asks her male friends to share their sailboat with them. The adults, all in dark dress, stroll in the background holding their parasols (1).

Commentary
   The tide is in and filling this little backwater. Sailing ships glide on the horizon, and a steamship heads out into the Atlantic. Compare this painting to AB188110.
